Dreams were the family language.
Dreaming was always part of my life. Weekends were slow in our home. We would sleep in a little longer, then emerge from our rooms, wiping the sleep from our eyes, and gather around the breakfast table or in the family room to share our dreams. Dreams were treated as messages, visitations, and experiences worth listening to. They were never dismissed as random. Even the scarier ones. It was so normalized that I assumed it was a practice all families engaged in.
It was my dad who introduced me to out-of-body experiences when I was eleven or twelve. So I grew up with all of this deeply normalized, in my household, even among my extended relatives.
We never spoke of this as cultural, but I now wonder how much our openness to dreams, spirit, and the unseen was shaped by our family's Indo-Caribbean roots.
Then, in 2003, everything opened.
I experienced a spiritual awakening that changed my inner life. My dreams became lucid, extraordinary, and epic in scale. They carried moments of precognition, spiritual encounters, and a depth I could no longer dismiss as imagination alone.
I began documenting my dreams, consciously keeping a pen and paper beside my bed so I could easily reach for them and record what I remembered before it slipped away. I sought out books to explore their meanings and shared my dreams with my family, continuing the conversations that had begun around our breakfast table decades earlier.
The more attention I gave my dreams, the more alive the relationship became. Dreaming was no longer simply something that happened while I slept. It became a way of communicating with something larger than myself: the field, the universe, God, or whatever name one chooses to give it.
I became the dream interpreter, by default.
I would arrive at work talking about the dream I had experienced the night before, sometimes still caught in the experience of it. My colleagues would listen as I unpacked the dream, worked through its details, and tried to understand what it meant.
Before long, colleagues and friends began bringing me their dreams. They wanted to know what I noticed and what their dreams might be revealing about their lives.
This continued for nearly twenty years. I was not trying to turn it into a profession. I simply became the person people came to when a dream lingered with them.
Over time, it accumulated into hundreds of recorded dreams, countless conversations, and a body of experience I had not yet recognized as my life's work.
The question that named it.
Through a series of dreams, it became clear this was where I was being summoned, and the Dream Seer was born. Around that time, in a mentorship session, someone asked me a question:
"What can you talk about that you never get bored of?"
It floated out of my mouth before I could think. Dreams. I can talk about this endlessly. When someone said, "you got all of that from your dreams?" I finally saw the uniqueness of it, the precognitive moments, the way my dreams had supported me all along. It was glaringly obvious. This is the work.

What guides my work
A wider way of knowing.
Logic is valuable, but many forms of intelligence are available to us. Dreams, intuition, imagination, symbolism, the body and lived experience can reveal what rational perception alone may not reach.
No chart, dream, oracle, system or guide should become the authority over your inner life. These are mirrors that can help us see more clearly, not substitutes for your own discernment.
Awareness becomes meaningful when it changes how we live. The work is not only to receive insight, but to consciously bring it into our choices, relationships, creativity and the practical realities of everyday life.
My work draws upon research, ethical practice, professional training and embodied methodology while leaving room for mystery. I believe in structure and fluidity, in grounding the work while remaining open to what emerges.
